I’m sure in most practical cases you do not need a pixel-level precision. Some of them are very detailed and go to a level of scientific article. There are quite some guides on the Internet on how to add a custom landscape scenery to Stellarium or SkySafari in general. This is a big time saver in planning your day. The benefit of a custom landscape is that you can directly see which parts of the sky are obscured by trees, houses, hills at a given time and date on your favorite location. ![]()
